What We Stand On

Our Values
Glorify God
At Trenton Tabernacle, we strive to glorify God in our lifestyles, conduct and expression of worship.
The Word of God
The Word of God is the absolute authority that we live by, the authority that we teach with, and is what we believe to be inerrant, and is to be uncompromised in order to live out the full and complete life that we have in Him. God has a plan and purpose for every single one of us, and the way to discover that is through the Word of God.
Prayer
At Trenton Tabernacle we believe that prayer is the lifeline in which every believer lives by other than the Word of God. Prayer is how we communicate to God and God back to us. We believe that prayer is not only a necessity for us, but actually fundamentally a privilege. It is an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to pray to God, and know that He can and will respond. Prayer is a privilege in light of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
Fellowship
Fellowship is a BIG thing for us at Trenton Tabernacle. We believe that no matter the background, age, type, preference, financial status, or influence, everyone needs and desires a community of people to be with. Relationships is the greatest resource we have as humans, and at Trenton Tabernacle we value our relationships. We value the community and culture of family that is cultivated at Trenton Tabernacle. When you join Trenton Tabernacle, you're not simply joining a church. You're joining a family.
Servanthood
Jesus says that if anyone desires to be first, He must first become last, and become a servant to all. We very much believe in the power of service. Not primarily for our benefit, but for yours and the rest of the world. We serve God by serving His people. The greatest thing you can do to anyone is serve them and meet their needs with gospel of Jesus Christ. Serve with love, compassion, and patience through your gifts!
Family
The church at large is a community of families, and if the family isn't not in order, then neither will the church be. We believe that the family is not only the first ministry, it's one of most the powerful conduits for advancing the kingdom of God.
Discipleship
None of us is as strong as all of us. Jesus spent the final 3 and half years of His life, not only performing miracles but discipling those who would later on use the things they were taught, things they seen, and experienced to turn the world upside down with the Gospel. We believe that it is not only our primary responsibility to live out the Gospel as disciples of Christ, but to also reciprocate that same thing to others in our community. Discipleship is more than just transferring of information, but the transferring of life.
Evangelism
Outreach is what we strive for through different forms of community service. Sharing the goods news to all the world and reaching those who don't know Christ with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of love, redemption, and salvation. God desires that all men repent and come to salvation, and so do we.
