Who We Are

The Trenton Tabernacle Assembly of God is a multicultural, multigenerational, multilingual worship community based in the west side of Trenton, New Jersey.

The ministry began in January of 2000, at Capital Assembly of God inspired by a few community believers that wanted to see a place of worship in the Trenton area that would pursue God passionately, serve with integrity, and leave a legacy for generations to come in the Haitian community. Pastor Wilner Charles, who was living in New York and ministering as associate pastor, while traveling often to share the word of God around the world, was nominated as the candidate to lead this movement in Trenton. After prayer and seeking counsel, he agreed and assumed the role as Senior Pastor to lead the congregation that would be identified "First Haitian Capital Assembly of God."

Over the years, the ministry has grown from 13 people to about roughly 300 members. Through the ministry, God has raised pastors, evangelists, teachers, missionaries, and ministers who have traveled across North America sharing the gospel, as well reaching its surrounding community through various outreach events and activities. In 2010, the ministry moved from the Hamilton Square location, to the heart of New Jersey, in West Trenton. The church also changed it's name from First Haitian Capital Assembly of God, to the presently known, Trenton Tabernacle Assembly of God.

Trenton Tabernacle is a community of believers that believe in family, fellowship, honesty, integrity, and the full gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed to reaching all  peoples for the kingdom of God. We believe that Jesus Christ came to set us free. Free to serve, free to worship, and most importantly, free to be all that God has destined us to be.
